Freight comparison FAQs

Is this a live freight quote?

No. This tool creates a planning comparison from your dimensions, weight, quantity, and destination. Carrier availability, commodity restrictions, origin pickup, insurance, customs, fuel charges, and local fees can change a bookable quote.

When should I compare LCL and FCL?

Compare both when your shipment is large enough that LCL handling and minimum charges are significant. FCL can become more practical as volume grows, but cargo type, destination fees, and loading constraints still matter.

Why is air freight charged by a different weight?

Air freight normally uses the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Large but light cartons can therefore cost more than their scale weight suggests.
